Stressed,Depressed but Well-Dressed.

Stressed,Depressed but Well-Dressed.

So I had my exhibition last night finally, and here are the photos! Sorry did not post on Friday, the pictures were on my USB and the USB was given to someone else and then was given to another person, so by Friday I didn't have it in possession, BUT now I do! I have to say the Exhibition took alot out of me, I was just so stressed, I put up all the pictures and props the day before, then the next day I had a call saying it was all taken down,I had to rush to the college and I just stood at my Exhibition space in horror,it was nearly empty. The teacher explained my work was powerful enough without all the props and that it spoke for it self but in my mind, I wanted what I originally planned!

So this is how I left my exhibition space the evening before... and this is what I came back too the next day.(Taken with my BB). I finally got it all sorted out again after hours of re-placing my images and getting it up to standard again.
Stressed Depressed but well Dressed.

This is the exploration between the body and the environment that surrounds us, as one can feel comfortable and overpowering, another can feel stressed and depressed. The images portray the relationship between the natural and the unnatural as society feeds us brands and even if we gag while eating, we will be force-fed. No choice.

This is a visual story of a lost wandering boy who’s desperate to embrace nature and an unaware lost wandering girl who embraces artificial inanimate objects; both raised in the polluted world of materialism, both trapped in an invisible cage.

We may be stressed or depressed but we will always be well-dressed, as society feeds us brands subconsciously and consciously.

Or in other words, It is a story about a boy who ran away from society and wants to be natural but the girl represents society which is full of unnatural things and is very powerful. She comes to the woods to find him and bring him back to society.

This is the Exhibition space.

I will not be blogging every Friday but I will try my best too since I have a lot to do and prepare for, but daily dose of inspiration will continue all the time! See you soon everyone and I hope you liked the images!

A walk in Town.

Hey Everyone,

So I finally did a shoot after weeks of being busy and here are just a few of the shots, and I will be uploading a few more later on this week when I get the chance since I have travelled again. The photos are styled by me as always and we didn't really go for a theme, we just literally walked around the town centre and did some shots. This was the first outfit. I literally spent about 5minutes editing these photos because I had a train to catch in the next hour, but I hope you all like the photos.

See you sometime this week as I will post more photos.

Finding Time in my Chaotic World.

Finding Time in my Chaotic World.

Hey Everyone,

Just less than 2 weeks until Exhibition, I have finally just finished editing the photos and choosing the ones I want to Exhibit. I just have to order the prints and design the exhibition space I will be allocated. June 14th will be the Exhibition date so on the 15th I will be posting my final images to show you all the photos I have been working on for the past 2 weeks. I realized the photos were the quickest part, just a few hours of snapping and editing and I was done. It was the research and developing and analyzing that took a huge amount of time, especially because every week I kept coming up with new ideas, changing original ideas or just developing ideas. I took the final photos last week and even on the day I kept improvising. I just have a bucket of imagination in my head.

It has all been about time management! We have had about 5 months to do this project, and I can honestly say the first 4 months I just took my time and enjoyed the fact we had so long. Then BAM its only 3 weeks left until the deadline and time just flies without even realizing it! Lets go back to January.... I started researching then, collating all the information I needed and brainstorming continuously, because I knew by May I would be extremely busy so I definitely had to take the opportunity and use time with me instead of it being against me. However of course I got some ear ache off people telling me to relax and and that '' we have 5 months left so don't do the work now.'' but in reality yes we had 5months but we don't get that long for nothing.

Like I said, It has all been about time management! Without it, you will be lost, behind and will not be able to work to the best of your ability if everything is rushed. Just think if you do it all way before the deadline, you can literally just relax by the time the deadline approaches or do extra.

Here are a few of the random images I have posted on Instagram (frozenvanity).
I really do hope you will all like the final images when I show you them on the 15th of June. I have been ever so busy so having time to take any photo shoots has been non-existent however I now have a holiday and have a few little fashion shoots booked, and got some outfits together so I promise my blog posts will get a lot more interesting soon! I may add a sneak preview of my final Exhibition work up next Friday.

See you next Friday!

Daily Dose of inspiration.

Daily Dose of inspiration.
4 Models, 3 huskies, 7 Assistants, clothing,makeup,hair & a Photographer.
I thought I would post this up, as I personally thought it was fascinating as I love fashion photography and this exactly what a fashion shoot consists of in the industry. I think what shocked me the most was the before and after photos. So much editing goes into the images yet the images just look so natural! Lovely story told with rich furs and frosty colors. Models Zaya, Min Young, Gwen and Kim Kook play nomadic Mongolian girls, with amazing fur collections. The styling, done by Donald Lawrence, also included touches of crocodile Photographed by Melissa Rodwell for Kurv Magazine.
