Dubai snap shots.

Hey everyone,

As you all know I went to Dubai last week, so I thought I would upload a few of the photos I took. Dubai was gorgeous, but what I really loved the most was the Aquarium and the view from Joe's Cafe overlooking the fountain show and Burj Khalifa literally in front of my eyes. I was going to go right up to the top of Burj Khalifa, however it was sold out for 2days straight so hopefully next time. I went on a little road trip and visited Al Ain and also Abu Dhabi which too were very beautiful. The weather was gorgeous, perfect to go to the water park called Wild Wadi, where I wish I had my camera to take the view from where I was standing when I was queuing for the slide, it was just breath taking.

I have recently just created a "kik" account, due to a lot of people asking for my Blackberry Pin which I don't give out so I thought the kik account is more convenient. Last weeks post I had said I wasn't going to blog but I came back to UK yesterday therefore I will be blogging this week and I will show you all the random snap shots I took this week in Dubai next Friday! This post is just going to be a short one...

When I do photo shoots, I don't just like taking photos of the posed model and what I planned but, I love taking random photos of behind the scenes too, of the jewellery, or the shoes or the fabric...it creates an atmosphere to go along with the final photos.

This week I was looking through my hard drive at old photos and some of the images I just couldn't remember taking, it made me realise events and days just fly past us and can easily be forgotten. I guess that’s one reason I love taking photos because I can eventually look back at them and remember the day, the people and the feelings I once had.

So I haven't come across much in the past weeks that are inspirational too me, every time I see a photographer or an editorial, its just not 'original', I want to see something that will make me go WOW, but for now I have found these photos which reminded me of spring and I love colour so these photos are perfect for the spring/summer season. Colour blocking is still number one on my trend list, the colours are bright which defiantly creates a happy and vibrant atmosphere! These photos were shot by  Sebastian Kim.The above photo I am not quite sure which photographer took the photo, but I absolutely loved it!

I am not just a big fan of fashion and photography but I do love Interior design too, and when I first saw these photos, that's all I could look at before even looking at the model and outfit! Just look at the walls, the textures and the big bold statement pieces, its so busy yet so tranquil. Mario Testino's Los Angeles  home is absolutely gorgeous. I really love the fact that the outfits are so textured to reflect the interior of the house, I just love the overall outcome of the images.

Well i must confess to you all, i used to be a brand addict when i was younger, all i wanted was to wear designer clothes, i saw all these rich celebrities wearing brands and everyone worshiped them, everyone respected them and looked up to them. So i thought if i wore designer brands everyone would look up to me. Of course now i look back at that and think what an idiot, but then i also think Thank god it happened when i was younger, because i know many people who are brand addicts in their late teens and 20+ years.

Imagine emotions metaphorically, literally and physically walking down my spine, i turn from hells warmth to the most painful icy statue, i cannot move, i cannot speak, nor hear, but i feel, i feel the sudden rush of freedom in my veins.

When doing something creative there always seems to be someone telling you "no your doing it wrong" or "its suppose to be like this", sometimes i feel like just screaming at them and telling them this is my work and let me do it how i want to do it. Ever felt like that? I guess if we all did it 'right' we would all have the same type of images, we would all have the same style and the same ideas.

So its 2012 now and lets speak in terms that it is actually going to be the end of the world. Who is actually ready to die this year? And honestly say they made the most of all the opportunities they had, no regrets, have been true to them selves and others; they’ve helped others and they have sacrificed aspects of their life to create a better future, basically lived their life to the fullest.
